About 200 people attended the WYNnovation Summit in Hoppers Crossing on Friday, February 4.
The Wyndham council event, held at the Encore Events Centre, gave businesses owners and representatives an opportunity to hear from keynote speakers, participate in a panel discussion from Wyndham businesses and network with community members.
The keynote speakers on the day included co-founder of Big Red Group (BRG) and the founder of RedBalloon, Naomi Simson, who is also known from the television show Australian Shark Tank.
Inventor, TV presenter and author Dr Jordan Nguyen also spoke, along with Hardhat co-founder Dan Monheit.
