Burglary, car stolen in Point Cook

Police are investigating a burglary at a Point Cook house, which took place on January 4.

Police said two men forced their way into the Horizon Point house, while the residents were not at home.

The men stole a set of car keys to a white Jeep Cherokee, which was parked in the garage.

The vehicle, which is believed to have been used in a number of  burglaries in Melbourne’s north, was located abandoned on January 22.

One of the men is perceived as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, with distinctive facial hair. He was wearing a dark hoodie and grey pants.

The second man was wearing dark clothing, including what is believed to be a dark Adidas hooded top, along with a peaked cap and gloves.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
