The IRT International Breakfast of Stars was held at TAB Park Werribee, the home of the
International Horse Centre, on Thursday November 2.
The morning consisted of interviews and insights of the horses and Spring Carnival
from guests, such as Joe McGrath, Micheal Ramsden Micheal Kent Jnr, Paul
Bloodworth, Lee Mottershead, Jim McGrath and Dave Casey.
The international superstars had their turn to go through their paces on the track throughout the
morning, which was visible for guests from their seats at breakfast.
This years lineup included Melbourne Cup Favourite Vauban and stable mate Absurde, Japanese
raider, Breakup, Joseph O’Brien trained Valiant King and Okita Soushi, as well as Mick Price and
Michael Kent Jnr trained Lastotchka.
The Melbourne Cup even made a special appearance giving guests a photo opportunity
before the big race.
“Our annual IRT International Breakfast with the Stars was a fantastic morning, bringing together
many racing dignitaries, members, sponsors, and people from the Wyndham community to
recognise and celebrate the stars of the world racing scene,” said Werribee Racing Club General Manager Adam Wilkinson, .
“We are very proud of our contribution to the local economy and look forward to further success in
some of the major races over the Spring Racing Carnival.”
