A four-year-old boy is in a critical condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital, after getting into trouble in a swimming pool in Werribee this morning.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said paramedics responded to a call about a boy struggling in water around 9.30am.
The unconscious child was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
A spokeswoman for the hospital confirmed this afternoon that the boy was now in a critical condition.
