Emergency services have located the body of a man in the Werribee River in Chirnside Park this morning.
Police and emergency services were called to the river last night, following reports a person had entered the water and not emerged.
Police were called to the scene about 5.40pm, after witnesses reported concerns about an unknown male who had been seen splashing in the water.
The man has not yet been identified. Police are not treating the matter as suspicious.
