Police have charged a Wyndham north man with drug offences following a traffic intercept in Werribee.
Westgate Highway Patrol officers observed a Harley Davidson allegedly travelling at 94km/h in a 60km/h zone on Alfred Road on March 8.
Officers moved to intercept the bike and the rider pulled over but then attempted to run from police.
A 32-year-old Wyndham Vale man was arrested by police a short time later.
Police allegedly found drugs, cash and other paraphernalia in the man’s backpack.
The bike allegedly had false number plates and was seized.
The man has been charged with drugs and traffic offences and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on May 19.
