Be a friend of Werribee Park

The Friends of Werribee Park are inviting those interested in keeping their backyard ecologically healthy to join them this Saturday, July 19.

Running from 10am-noon, participants will be able to do anything from planting and weeding to removing rubbish.

The group meets the third Saturday of every month at The Werribee River Regional Park— main entrance is off William Thwaites Drive, so follow the signposted access road off William Thwaites Drive.

No experience is needed—just a willingness to join in with the community and care for the landscape.

All tools will be provided, a morning tea will follow and make sure to bring a hat, water bottle and gloves.

For bookings and more information, contact kym.mccoy@werribeeriver.org.au
