Barbie comes to life

By Dewi Sherry

It’s time to get your Barbie on.

Pacific Werribee shopping centre has launched a school holiday Barbie activation called “You can be anything”.

Running until October 6, a Barbie activity zone has been set up to with a range of activities to suit all different personalities.

Placing emphasis on uncovering the dreams of little superstars from the west, the activity zone will encourage children to share their dreams and show their artistic flair.

Pacific Werribee centre manager Patricia Gardiner said: “Families with children represent 55 per cent of the centre’s trade area, so we’re proud to bring this Australian first to Pacific Werribee and the west.

“The ‘You Can Be Anything’ activation will empower little ones throughout the school holidays and we can’t wait to see the dream wall filled with their goals.

“We’re really committed to providing fun and engaging school holiday events for our community, so for us this is a real highlight.”

The activity zone will include everything from an aspirational dream wall, craft activities, Barbie AFL handball training station to a rock star movie set and opportunities to take photos with a real life Barbie.

For more information on all school holiday activities, head to the Pacific Werribee website www.pacificwerribee.com.au
