Police have charged a 19-year-old man following a series of armed robberies and burglaries across Melbourne, including in Wyndham earlier this month.
Upon executing a search warrant at a Seaford address on Tuesday, police arrested the man and seized a machete believed to have been used during the offending,
Police will allege the man carried out seven armed robberies, four attempted armed robberies, two aggravated burglaries, and two attempted aggravated burglaries at businesses across multiple suburbs, including Werribee, Tarneit, Truganina, Laverton North and Williams Landing.
This offending allegedly occurred between 11.40pm on Monday, June 30 and 9.25pm on Wednesday, July 2.
He has been charged with 34 offences relating to 29 separate incidents, with some of the charges including seven counts of armed robbery, four counts of attempted armed robbery, two aggravated burglaries with an offensive weapon, two attempted aggravated burglaries and eight thefts.
He was remanded to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 16.
Police arrested a 15-year-old and 17-year-old boy from the Greater Dandenong area in relation to these incidents on July 4.
The 15-year-old was granted bail, while the 17-year-old remains in custody.
