A man has been arrested following the alleged theft of a BMW from a Wyndham Vale home with a child inside this morning.
An 18-year-old was arrested in Norlane about 1.30pm following reports of a suspicious loiter, and is assisting police.
Police are still on the hunt for a second man who was seen leaving the scene in a white Toyota Supra.
The vehicle was taken from the Wyndham Vale home about 6.30am, and was later stopped on Plume Street in Norlane. A man allegedly ran from the car.
