Arrest after pizza shop assault, aggravated burglary

 Police have arrested a 20-year-old man following an alleged assault which occurred at a Werribee pizza shop last night.
Officers from the Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit arrested the man at his Greaves Street North address about 10am today.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary two counts of intentionally cause injury, two counts of assault with an instrument, unlawful assault, criminal damage, theft from shop, assault police and resist police.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
The arrest relates to the alleged assault of two staff members and theft of a bottle of soft drink from a Quarbing Street pizza shop just before 9pm on Sunday.
