Appeal to identify Truganina pedestrian

Police are appealing for information in relation to a collision in Truganina yesterday morning that left a woman in a critical condition.

The woman was crossing Leakes Road when she was hit by a white sedan at about 4.35am on Thursday November 29 .

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is yet to be identified at this stage.

She is described as African in appearance with a small build, approximately 166cm tall with a scar on her forehead and burn scars on her right leg.

She was wearing a black puffer jacket, pink platform sneakers and dark-coloured pants.

An image of a notebook belonging to the woman has been released in the hope someone may recognise it.

Police also want to speak to any of the drivers they believe drove past the scene at the time and are particularly interested in any dashcam footage of the incident.

The female driver of the white sedan did stop at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.

She was not injured.
