Agency a point of pride

By Esther Lauaki

Neeraj Goel describes himself as a “one-man army”.

The Point Cook accountant and managing director of Expert Tax established the business three years ago, providing a raft of financial services.

“I have been in the industry for more than 10 years,” Mr Goel said.

“I wear many hats in the business, doing everything from marketing, managing, lodgement, dealing with the ATO.”

As well as tax services, Mr Goel and a small team provide immigration services, home and commercial loans and personal insurance and can assist with establishing registered training organisations.

He said the business was thriving in Point Cook.

“It’s a central location … I look after clients in the western suburbs and across the whole of Wyndham,” Mr Goel said. “There are a lot of businesses here.

“Small-to-medium enterprises and large businesses rely on their accountants when it comes to accounting-related tasks.

“Generally, accountants assist a business with lodging timely tax returns and business activity statements.

“Doing so allows a company to have a transparent outlook on their economic landscape as well as understand the changes in the market trends.”

Expert Tax has entered this year’s Wyndham Business Awards in the professional services and new and emerging categories.

Star Weekly is a media partner of the Wyndham Business Awards.
