Police have arrested a man following an alleged attempted carjacking in Hoppers Crossing this morning.
The alleged incident occurred on Morris Road shortly after 6.30am.
A 33-year-old Glenroy man allegedly received a wound to his leg during the incident.
A 25-year-old man from Muckatah was arrested nearby, at around 10am.
He is currently in custody and is expected to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tonight.
Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives said they expected to charge the man with a range of offences including aggravated carjacking.
