Manor Lakes club jubilant at Jubilee’s leg-up

Five community groups, including Manor Lakes Cricket Club, will benefit from grants offered by the developers of Wyndham Vale’s newest estate, Jubilee.

The aim of the $1000 grants is to help develop group activities.

Developer Lotus Living says the program will shine a light on important local groups that may need a hand to continue.

Managing director Peter Bozzo said the grants were open to sports clubs, not-for-profit organisations and even small mothers’ groups.

“We’re really looking forward to uncovering some of the talented and very hard-working community groups,” Mr Bozzo said.

For Manor Lakes Cricket Club president Chris Riley, it’s a great chance to help kids. Entries close on May 22 and the winners will be named on June 8. Entry forms are at the Jubilee land sales office at 774 Ballan Road.
