Grade 3 and 4 pupils at Woodville Primary School are rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty.
The pupils have spent the past term learning to grow and maintain a variety of plants and vegetables as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.
The program is run at 800 Australian schools to teach pupils about growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing seasonal food.
This is the first year the Woodville school has been involved in the program. Next term, its pupils will begin cooking with the produce they grow.
