Construction on the $47 million Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre redevelopment continues to gather pace.
The first stage of the project, which is expected to open mid-year, includes eight new indoor multi sports courts including a 1500-seat show court, four outside netball courts and a cafe.
The redevelopment will almost triple the size of the existing centre making it the largest indoor court facility in the western suburbs.
A state-of-the-art health club, creche, new administration areas and improved function rooms will also be added before the centre’s completion in mid-2016.
