Man sought over Werribee convenience store hold-up

Police are hunting an armed robber responsible for a terrifying hold-up at a Werribee convenience store last week.

About 2.40am on February 26, a man with a handgun entered the Synnot Street store and threatened a staff member. The attendant handed over cash before the man fled the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

Detectives have released footage from inside the store (below) which includes images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180 centimetres tall and with dark hair. He was wearing a light-coloured hooded jumper over a dark jumper and blue pants.

Can you help?
