Tucked beneath a bridge at Wyndham Vale, a group of the city’s most at-risk teenagers are making a colourful statement, but it’s not what you may expect.
Using their creative flair and natural talent, they are taking part in a Wyndham council project designed to keep them engaged in the community.
Most of the teenagers in the project have dropped out of mainstream schooling and were this week putting their skills to the test – with the help of a street artist – on mobile graffiti boards built by Wyndham Park Men’s Shed members for the November 21 Youth Fest and future graffiti programs.
