$11m to link Forsyth and Palmers roads in Williams Landing

Safety has been improved at one of Wyndham’s most notorious intersections following an $11 million upgrade to link Forsyth and Palmers roads.

Williams Landing developers Cedar Woods constructed a new intersection at Forsyth Road, extended Ashcroft Avenue and built an Overton Road link to improve safety on Wyndham’s most congested thoroughfare, Forsyth Road.

The works will improve traffic flow and safety between Hoppers Crossing and Truganina.

Wyndham councillor Glenn Goodfellow said the works were necessary because Williams Landing was one of Wyndham’s fastest-growing areas.

Cedar Woods state manager Nathan Blackburne said the intersection was the only western access to Williams Landing.
