Sensory garden makes sense in Manor Lakes

Residents at Uniting AgeWell centre in Manor Lakes have a new space to enjoy, thanks to lifestyle co-ordinator Angela Taylor.

Ms Taylor has designed a twilight sensory garden, providing residents with an area for social gatherings, recreation and reflection.

Centre quality officer Ann Laity says the garden incorporates solar lights, wood and water to create a functional space “with a sense of whimsy”.

It also has vertical gardens and a sun station equipped with wide-brimmed hats and sun screen.
