Business Matters: Top team the secret of her success

Michelle Chick, director of Ray White Real Estate Werribee, is the type of agent who loves greeting her new and past clients as she walks down her local streets. She’s a people person; it’s what makes her tick.

It’s also what has partly contributed to the success Michelle has achieved with her agency, which she established on February 1, 2017.

She now has a team of 10, all women who share her absolute commitment to looking after clients with compassion and dedication.

“I wouldn’t be where I am today without my team, which we call Team Chick,” she says. “I am very blessed to have such hard workers alongside me, each one with respect for the public and a love of helping people. They are my biggest asset.”

A board member of Werribee Mercy Hospital, Michelle, who draws huge support from her family and the Ray White corporate crew, holds a strong belief in giving back to her community.

“Right now, we’re raising funds for the homeless to get blankets. We’re doing this together with Uniting Wyndham, a not-for-profit support agency. To date, we’ve raised $1000.

“We set up a coffee stall – two of our team are trained baristas – at the Winter Wonderland Festival. Our team spent five hours making coffees to raise the funds for our homeless people. Then, about three months ago, each team member matched the amount we raised and we ended up with three shopping trolleys full of groceries to give to the youth of Wyndham who are homeless.

“And, last Christmas, we collected 398 gifts for children of all ages from family, friends, immediate networks and the public, delivering them to Uniting Wyndham. Our aim has always been to work towards a percentage of profits on every one of our sales going back into the community.”

Michelle has achieved record listings and sales, with outstanding results for her clients, in the past more than 15 years she’s been in the industry. Her latest award, among many, is as the 2017-18 Elite Performer.

She attributes her level of success to the care she brings to the real estate game. She is known for her honesty, transparency in all dealings and an outstanding level of professionalism.

Michelle finishes by saying, “Our team truly is the ‘whole package’.”
