IN FOCUS: The can-do business centre

Hard-working businesses need problems, including IT issues, resolved quickly and with a minimum of fuss.

That’s where Telstra Business Centre Melbourne West in Hoppers Crossing comes in.

A privately owned and managed business with either retail stores or business centres also in Point Cook, West Footscray and Moonee Ponds, the telecommunications/ICT group is a licensed Telstra partner.

As owners Craig Kennedy and Jason Farrugia explain, this means the business, which has been running for more than 10 years, combines the power of Telstra with the attention and care of a small enterprise.

As a Telstra Total Solutions Accredited Business Partner, they believe they offer the best advice and service in the market.

“We have a highly respected and experienced team,” Craig says.

“We are a true whole-of-business solutions partner, able to handle all business IT, mobile and business phone systems and data accounts.

“We have a proven track record of performance which has allowed us to establish long-lasting relationships with clients.

“Our aim is to make life simple for our clients. We know first-hand how challenging it can be to run a business, so we want to be trusted technology and communication advisors. We help businesses make decisions based on accurate, informed, easy-to-understand information.”

Jason says they understand customers may have complex technology and communications needs not always entirely met by the Telstra suite of products.

“We save our clients the time and effort of finding other IT and communications specialists to complete their projects,” Jason says. “Through our internal capability of managed IT and telephony services, we are able to cover a wide range of fields such as infrastructure projects, mobile call recording, disaster recovery and application and web development.

“We realise business changes rapidly. Plans developed even six months ago may no longer be appropriate. And we don’t just sell products – we listen and solve.”

Aside from front and back-of-house specialists the business centres also have qualified in-house technicians who provide end-to-end solutions for any technical need – including phone systems installation and programming, cabling needs, IT architecture and project management.

Craig has the final word: “Our values state we do things R.I.T.E. – respect, integrity, teamwork and excellence.”
