IN FOCUS: Skin rejuvenation’s smart choice

After a fresh look? Let the team at Hoppers Lane General Practice Clinic help take away those frown lines and wrinkles with Botox, fillers or Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy options.

Trusting your skin rejuvenation treatments to a general practitioner is the smart option.

The clinic offers discreet injectable services and other cosmetic services such as Botox and fillers in a professional, medically-led environment.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) is a treatment used for decades to help heal sports injuries and to assist in the healing process following major dental surgery.

More recently its cosmetic benefits have been too great to ignore.

Practice manager Laura Paton says PRP enhances wound healing to rejuvenate skin.

“The results, even after one session, can be pretty remarkable, although three sessions every six to 12 months are recommended to sustain best possible results.

“We have three GPs that specialise in Botox, fillers and the PRP procedure.

“They are all incredibly well-educated, having trained in cosmetic-specific procedures.

“What sets our clinic apart is that you are often being treated by a doctor with more than 11 years of education under their belt, not to mention years and years of clinical practice.

“Our doctors understand intricately how the muscles, tendons and fatty tissues all intersect and also understand the risks.

“They are the obvious first choice when undertaking any cosmetic procedure as they will ensure you get the best possible treatment and value for money.”

Laura says that you can get a free consultation to talk in-depth with a GP to understand the different procedures and know the costs so you can be well prepared.

“If you call to book, you can usually get in within 24 hours, which is great,” she says.

Hoppers Lane General Practice is open until 10pm Monday to Friday, so fitting in an appointment is a breeze even when life and work keeps you busy.

For the month of April, filler costs $550 for one vial (normally $650) – so if it’s something you’re considering, now is a great time to book an appointment.

Hoppers Lane General Practice Clinic also assists patients with management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and asthma, along with travel medicine,
skin checks, minor procedures, vasectomies, sports medicine, immunisation, home-health assessments and occupational health issues
including workplace injuries and health checks.

Hoppers Lane General Practice Clinic,  242 Hoppers Lane, Werribee. Opens 9am-10pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Inquiries: 8731 6500 or visit hopperslanegp.com.au
