Top brands flock to new Werribee shopping hub

There’s a month to go until shoppers get to check out the new Myer Werribee, but according to the store manager they’re in for a treat.

Topshop and Topman will be among almost 90 labels stocked at the two-level Myer, which will open its doors at Pacific Werribee on July 28.

The new Myer will be more than three times the size of the existing department store.

Topshop and Topman will join MAC cosmetics, Industrie, Seed, Calvin Klein, French Connection, Veronika Maine, Country Road, Jack & Jones, Superdry and Review as new brands at the store.

Myer Werribee store manager Sandra Ilias said shoppers could expect an “incredible” new store, with many brands coming to Wyndham for the first time.

Ms Ilias said Myer had employed 70 new staff for the expanded store, bringing its workforce up to 120.

“We are truly excited and grateful [to have Topshop and Topman],” she said.

“Altogether, 86 new brands will be part of our new store.

“It’s an incredible suite of new brands that will excite our customers.”

The Myer Werribee opening will coincide with the launch of stage three of Pacific Werribee’s $400 million redevelopment.

New stores to open at the centre will include H&M, Uniqlo, Kikki.K, Swarovski, Mecca Maxima, Seed, Heritage, Sportsgirl, Peter Alexander, Decjuba, Country Road, French Connection, Veronika Maine, Sportscraft and Bardot.
