Heathdale Christian College students are getting ready to get into character for one of Charles Dickens’ most famous tales – Oliver Twist.
The students will take to the stage at Wyndham Cultural Centre on July 17-18 to perform in the musical Oliver.
Among them will be Brendan, who plays Fagan, Joshua, who stars as Oliver, and Louise, who is portraying the Artful Dodger.
The musical features about 100 students from years 7-12, while pupils from grades 3-4 are involved in the choir.
Students have been rehearsing since October last year.
Performances are on July 17 at 7.30pm and July 18 at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets cost $28 for adults and $20 for concession cardholders, and are available from the cultural centre.
