Mums and bubs fitness classes

New mums Alicia Polman and Vanessa Hyland are bonding with their babies Edith, nine months, and Paige, 13 weeks, while getting fit.

They’ve signed up for the Grange Community Centre’s fun and fitness for mums program, which is aimed at mothers with children under 12 months old.

The six-week program begins on July 22 and activities will include mums’ and bubs’ fitness, yoga, Zumba, belly-dancing and group walks. Community development officer Karen Cain expects the activities will be lots of fun and help mums make new friends.

The program costs $30 for six weeks, with sessions running on Wednesdays from 11.30am-12.30pm.

The centre is at 260-280 Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing. Bookings are essential. Details: 8742 8000
