The bond between grandparents and their grandchildren is a special one.
Werribee Open Range Zoo will celebrate just this during Grandparents Week, with a special program of games, craft activities, talks and tours for children and their grandparents.
Starting Saturday, little ones and their grandparents can meet the meerkats, hang out with the hippos, have morning tea with the koalas, and dress up as vets and rangers.
