The Western Region Concert Band has vacancies for brass, saxophone and percussion players. The band rehearses on Saturdays at 9am in St Albans. ■ 9687 6644

Mums and bubs movies

Mums, dads, grandparents, uncles, aunties and carers of pre-school kids can catch a special mums and bubs movie session at Wyndham Cultural Centre, on July 31 from 11am. Big Fish will be screening.

Beat the crims

Try out netball

Hoppers Crossing Junior Netball Association will hold a free NetSetGo bring-a-friend day on August 1 at Mossfiel Reserve Courts, 10.30am-12.30pm. The day will include a NetSetGo session for five to 10 year-olds, run by Australian Diamonds player Madi Robinson. Register now.
