Manor Lakes College fete

There will be fun for all ages when Manor Lakes College hosts its 2016 fete on Friday, November 25, from 3-7pm. Enjoy rides, carnival games, stalls and a food and community expo.

Community goes festive

Satterley is hosting a community carnival on November 26 from 11am-3pm at Tarneit’s Habitat estate, corner of Sayers and Davis roads. The free event will have live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, magicians, face-painting, balloon artists and 10 display homes open to the public.

Get your fitness on

Truganina’s Allura estate is hosting a free health and fitness program during the school term. The 45-minute sessions start 6.30am, Monday to Friday, at Mainview Reserve on the corner of Mainview Boulevard and Vibrandia Way, Truganina, and include cross-training, boxing and yoga.

Merry Mercy

Werribee Mercy Hospital’s Christmas fair is on November 26 at Victoria University’s Werribee campus. Gift stalls, children’s activities, an animal farm, food trucks, and even a visit from Santa are on the agenda.

Nativity workshop for kids

Crossroads Uniting Church will run a workshop for primary school-aged children exploring the Christmas story through games, craft, music and other activities. November 29, and December 6 and 13, 3.45-5.15pm, at the church, corner Synnot Street and Duncans Road, Werribee. $15 per child for the remaining three sessions. Bookings essential.

Run for fun

Western Athletics invites anyone interested in health and fitness to join a recreational running group that caters for all abilities – from first-time runners to fun runners. Every Thursday, 6.15pm, at the VU athletics track, Hoppers Lane, Werribee. Gold coin donation.

Road trauma forum

Road Trauma Families Victoria will host a grief and loss forum, chaired by Michael Carr-Gregg and Viv McWaters, at Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Highway, Werribee, on December 1, 7-9pm. Victims of crime commissioner Greg Davies will open the free event.
