Teddy Vet Checks
These schools holidays, Werribee Open Range Zoo will be offering Teddy Vet Checks for its young visitors in Ranger Kids each day between 11am–3pm. The Teddy Vet Checks are the perfect way to nurture children’s kindness for other beings, whether human, animal, or teddy bear.

 

Wyndham Eid Festival

The Wyndham Eid Festival will launch at Presidents Park, Wyndham Vale, and run from 9am-8pm on October 1. This year’s festival will include children’s cultural performances and camel rides. The festival commemorates Eid al-Adha, a significant date on the Islamic calendar and translated as “festival of the sacrifice”.

Zonta meets

The Zonta Club of Melbourne’s West provides opportunities to give back to the community, cultivate friendships, network, develop new skills and work on projects and fundraising with members from diverse professional and social backgrounds. The group meets in Williamstown on the second Tuesday evening of each month.

Manor Lakes market

The Manor Lakes neighbourhood market is open at Wyndham Vale Community and Learning Centre on October 15 from 10am-2pm. More than 30 stalls will be showcasing small local businesses.

Williams Landing Shopping Centre is offering a range of events these school holidays, including sculpture and play sessions at 11am and 2pm daily from September 21-24, and free footy craft sessions at 11am to 2pm daily from September 26-29.
