Sophisticated package: 1 Reflections Boulevard, Tarneit, 3029

A Metricon ex-display house, this one has plenty of bells and whistles – and a level of sophistication that will satisfy many a discerning family.

Location is another key asset. No less than six schools are within 1.5 kilometres; the train station is a five-minute drive away; Wyndham Village Shopping Centre is even closer.

The stacked stone on the façade is echoed as a wall accent in white in the entry hall, which is laid with lovely floorboards that continue through to the lavish living domain.

The hall ducks left, past a powder room, to a children’s retreat/study, around which are three stylishly decorated fitted bedrooms and a very smart main bathroom with the same snazzy vertically-laid mosaics as seen in the kitchen splashback and en suite.

Just before the large living hub emerges, opaque-glass doors open to a grey-carpeted lounge/theatre room – the perfect spot for adult retreat or kids’ movie sessions.

The glam kitchen, with excellent butler’s pantry, has a waterfall stone bench under designer teardrop pendants, loads of storage in wood-grain laminate and all the (upgraded) mod-cons.

The main bedroom is right at the back, allowing it to have bifolds to its own timber deck flanked by tropical plantings. It has built-in robes and a very chic dual-basin en suite with enclosed toilet and freestanding tub next to a plantation shutter-dressed window.

Cornerless bifolds in the hub sweep back to a covered deck with mains gas connection for a barbecue, heaters, ceiling fan and TV connection. Nearby is a heated spa – relaxation and entertainment rolled into one. Among many indoor inclusions are gas ducted heating, split-system, 2.7-metre ceiling (rising to three metres in the entry hall), LED lights throughout, double-glazing, new high-quality carpet, alarm, CCTV and back-to-base smoke detectors.

A workshop down the back has 15-amp power, while the remote-controlled and extended double garage has internal
access and a pull-down ladder that provides entry to the massive roof cavity’s storage capacity.
