Magic on the marina: 46 Slipway Road, Werribee South, 3030

In a cul-de-sac, within a ball toss of the waterfront and taking in stunning Wyndham Harbour marina vistas from the front and You Yangs from the back, this beautifully designed abode delivers extravagant space and luxe liveability.

Elements such as marble, granite, glass and American oak come together in an ageless charcoal-and-white palette, with every room stamped with understated opulence.

The ground floor’s marble-floored entertainment room, with a great granite bar, opens to a covered alfresco with mains gas barbecue, kitchenette and dishwasher. Planter boxes, bamboo screens and water feature add their courtyard beauty next to a glass-rimmed salt pool (solar-heated, self-cleaning). The yard’s remainder is laid entirely with sealed aggregate to eliminate any onerous upkeep.

Also on the ground floor are two fitted bedrooms and an open study, each with floorboards. The classy nearby bathroom has dual basins.

Up top, under three-metre square-set ceilings, is where panoramic Port Phillip Bay views come into their own.

The American oak floorboards span the whole level, except in the kitchen where marble flooring once again underscores the luxury feel.

Loads of soft-close vinyl-wrap storage and granite benches and splashbacks are kitchen highlights, along with Neff appliances such as a 900mm gas cooktop, steamer and underbench ovens, dishwasher and integrated coffee machine and microwave.

The huge main bedroom up here is quite lovely. Along with balcony access, it has twin walk-in wardrobes and a sumptuous marble en suite with spa, dual shower and basins recessed into granite.

Included in the list of many perks are zoned ducted heating, refrigerated cooling, gas log fire, ducted vacuum, video intercom, security cameras, 2000-litre water tank with pump, a 5kW solar system and double garage with internal access.

Wyndham Harbour is a winning destination for recreational boating, offering world-class facilities to local and international sailors. The marina has wet berths, visitor berths, a retail precinct and cafe. Werribee’s Watton Street is about 10 kilometres away and Princes Freeway about seven.
