High and handsome: 26 Fireside Drive, Point Cook, 3030

Featherbrook P-9 College is at the end of the street and Featherbrook shopping centre is two minutes by car, putting this high and handsome abode in an enviable spot for family convenience. The well-presented house has plenty of space for both hang-together and retreat times.

The decor is a popular selection – sandstone wall paint with latte trims and doors, latte carpet and a combination of latte roman and white roller blinds. Everything flows harmoniously and the feel of space and light is a real asset.

Entry is to a walkway laid with pale floating floorboards that continue past a carpeted open lounge room, a powder room and laundry with french-door closet, then into the expansive hub.

The large kitchen has a return island bench in latte stone, a latte glass splashback, a big open pantry, a dishwasher and Technika 900mm cooker. It’s a great space for a family cook and smart enough to keep entertainers happy.

Carpeted stairs head up to a living room, around which are the four fitted bedrooms, separate toilet and main bathroom decked out in latte and sandstone.

The large main bedroom, with street views, has a big walk-in robe and roomy en suite with enclosed toilet.

Ducted heating and evaporative cooling take care of indoor climate control.

The meals area opens to a concrete patio, the ideal spot to whack up a pergola. The compact backyard has garden beds along fence lines.

There’s a remote-controlled double garage with internal access to the entry hall.

Featherbrook Reserve, Adelphi Boulevard shops and the 497 bus to Williams Landing train station are close by.
