Biggest Morning Tea

Help raise money for the Cancer Council at the Manor Lakes Biggest Morning Tea. It’s on May 6 from 10am-1pm at the Wyndham Vale Community Centre, 86 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Manor Lakes. The event will include door prizes, raffles, food, market stalls and entertainment from local kinders and schools. Tickets are $10 and need be purchased before the day.

Lifestyle and produce market

Check out arts and crafts, enjoy the food stalls and purchase local produce, plants and flowers at the Lifestyle and Produce Market. It’s on from 9am on May 4 at the Italian Sports Club Sala Roma Room, 601 Heaths Road, Werribee.

Meet the author

Best selling UK kids’ author, Liz Pichon, who wrote the award-winning Tom Gates series, will make an exclusive trip to the Julia Gillard Library Tarneit, 150 Sunset Views Boulevard, Tarneit, at 4.30pm on May 23. Pichon will talk about the Tom Gates series and share her inspirations as an author and illustrator. She will also show children how to draw her characters, and will be signing books on the day. Bookings required.
