The Soil to Soul Expo is on May 7, 11am-3pm, at Penrose Promenade Community Centre, Tarneit. Free food, stalls, workshops, food and garden shares, children’s activities, come and try sessions and more.

Comedy on the road

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is hitting the road and coming to Werribee. International comedians Dave Callan, Joel Dommett, Andrew Saunders, Rob Hunter and Mandy Nolan will be performing at Wyndham Cultural Centre on April 29. Werribee is one of 80 locations nationwide to host the comedians.

The Werribee diabetes support group meets on the second Friday of each month, 10am at Kelly Park, Synnot Street, Werribee.

FUN RUN

Werribee Mansion run

The MyPhysio Werribee Mansion Run is on Sunday, April 24, from 8.30am, with runs over 21.1 kilometres, 10 kilometres and 5.5 kilometres, a walk/run over 3.5 kilometres and a kids’ dash of 1.2 kilometres. The event starts and finishes on the lawns of Werribee Mansion at K Road.

The Wyndham Art Prize exhibition is at Wyndham Art Gallery, 177 Watton Street, with more than 70 works, including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, textiles, animations and videos, until May 1.

Learn Maltese

Registrations are open for Maltese language classes for adults at Werribee, Sydenham, Melton and Mill Park. All classes run from 6.30-8.30pm. Limited places available.

Internet for seniors

Wyndham residents aged 50 and older are being urged to sign up for free basic computer and internet training. The classes run every Sunday from 1-3pm at 15 Perkins Avenue, Hoppers Crossing.

Werribee Community Singers are an acapella group looking for new members. The group meets at Guide Hall, Powell Street, Hoppers Crossing, on Wednesdays, from 7pm until 9pm. First two weeks free. No auditions.
