Picnic on Australia Day
Werribee Park will come alive on January 26 as Wyndham celebrates Australia Day in true Aussie style. Festivities will start at noon to a backdrop of live music and entertainment. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic along, but if you’re feeling peckish there will be a great selection of food trucks to enjoy on the day. Kids will be entertained with an inaugural treasure hunt, Aboriginal art workshops, horse and carriage rides, classic lawn games, such as tug of war, egg and spoon races, and thong throwing.
