Wyndham Vale residents will have safe access over the railway line at Manor Lakes Boulevard after a new pedestrian bridge was opened last week.
Pupils from Manor Lakes College and Our Lady of Southern Cross Primary School helped open the bridge, which is part of the Regional Rail Link project.
Construction of the bridge required the removal of about 10,000 cubic metres of rock.
Manor Lakes College principal Jason Smallwood said the bridge would ensure safety for pedestrians and travellers.
