Scott, 4, is making a splash in a program for indigenous children at a Werribee pool.
Swim 4 All’s indigenous class allows participants to learn about water safety and skills.
Some swimmers are awarded scholarships for local swim clubs.
Swim 4 All founder Natalie Clarke says the Werribee centre caters for many minority groups and people with special needs.
“The indigenous group was started this term because a lot of them haven’t swum a lot and it means they can join in,” she said.
Swim 4 All also runs a women-only program for Islamic groups on Sundays.
