Hoppers Crossing beach boys get with the program

Chris, Xavier, Bradley and Beau took to Altona Beach last week to clean it up for summer.

They were among a group of about 20 Hoppers Crossing Secondary College students who are working to conserve the beach for future generations.

Students spent more than four hours cleaning it.

The clean-up was part of the students’ participation in the High Resolves Global Citizenship and Leadership Program, which encourages them to become involved in social-action projects.
