KINDERGARTEN teacher Danielle Buckham (pictured) promised staff and children at Wyndham Vale’s Future Kids Kindergarten she would shave her head if they raised $1000 for the Leukaemia Foundation.
But she admits she was surprised when they came up with the money.
Ms Buckham honoured her promise last Friday, shaving her head in front of children and their families.
Despite having some reservations about parting with her locks, Ms Buckham says she enjoyed showing off her new look to the children.
She says taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave was the best way of helping out people with leukaemia.
