THE Victoria Police show band rocked Werribee last Wednesday to raise money for the annual Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Dominic, 10 (pictured with Sergeant Ian Brown), was among the young people from the Karen and Karenni communities who volunteered to rattle tins.
Wyndham Community and Education Centre, City West Water and Raine and Horne Real Estate supported the event which raised about $1500.
The centre’s settlement service co-ordinator Craig Spicer says it was great to see the community show their support.
