SKATERS and BMX riders are being urged to comment on a new Wyndham Council skate, BMX and bike strategy designed to review facilities in the city and plan for future demand.
Iramoo ward’s Cr Cynthia Manson (pictured with skater Romany Latham) says Wyndham has three larger skate parks at Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale, Mossfiel Reserve in Hoppers Crossing and Boardwalk Boulevard in Point Cook, as well as a smaller one at Possy Newlands Reserve in Little River.
‘‘In order to make this strategy reflective and inclusive of all the community’s needs, it’s crucial we hear from as many residents and users of these facilities as possible.’’
