Mali in ‘my school’

ONE of 50 life-size fibreglass models of Melbourne Zoo’s elephant calf, Mali, has made its way to Truganina Primary School.

Pupils Sameer, Jessica and Nadia helped decorate the sculpture which went on display at Truganina Community Centre this week as part of the ‘Mali in My School’ program.

Mali statues were decorated by pupils around the state to mark the zoo’s 150th birthday.
