IF being a parent is a full-time job, having twins means an even heavier workload. A support group for parents of twins like Emma and Lauren, 3 (pictured), is hosting a garage sale fund-raiser to help new mums and dads cope with the challenges that accompany multiple births.
Baby, toddler and children’s goods at bargain prices will be on offer at the Wyndham Twins Plus garage sale from 8am-1pm on October 6 at Mossfiel Primary School in Hoppers Crossing.
President Jennifer Pitts said that without government or council funding, the group relied on the annual garage sale to raise money for important services.
“All funds raised go towards running events such as playgroups, activity sessions and information resources for new mums, including antenatal evenings and a resource library,” she said.
