In the pink for cancer research

MORE than 100 Wyndham senior citizens, including Dudley Boniwell, Bev Morrissey and Elizabeth Flynn (pictured), were thinking pink on Monday in support of breast cancer research. 

A Pink Ribbon Day spit roast lunch, dancing and good times were enjoyed at The Grange Community Centre in Hoppers Crossing, raising money for the cause. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Australia, with about 14,500 people expected to be diagnosed this year. 

All donations and funds raised will help the Cancer Council fight cancer through prevention programs, support services and research.
