WERRIBEE indoor cricketers Jack Budd and Lachlan King have returned home from the inaugural U14 Indoor Cricket World Cup in South Africa as champions.
Australia romped to a 79-run victory – 144 to 65 – over host nation South Africa in the final and the two local residents were in the thick of the action to earn their gold medals.
King was the tourists’ vice-captain.
