WERRIBEE South boat ramp has been made more user-friendly after Wyndham Council changed its ticketing system.
New machines have been installed at the ramp, allowing boat users to buy tickets seven days a week.
Mayor Heather Marcus said the machines would provide a more equitable system for users. “Under the previous system, weekend users were disadvantaged as they needed to purchase tickets at the ramp from the coast guard while weekday users did not always need to purchase a ramp ticket.”
No changes have been made to the cost of tickets.
