Rock pool ramble a real treat

ALYSSA, 5, and Parks Victoria ranger Toby Stringer (pictured) left no stone unturned in their search for marine wildlife at Point Cook Coastal Park.

Mr Stringer and fellow ranger Emily Verey took about 25 children on a rock pool ramble last Tuesday as part of Parks Victoria’s junior ranger program.

The school holiday program gives children a chance to get up close to nature.

Ms Verey said the ramble helped children learn more about marine life living in the coastal park. “We explore and look at the nooks and crannies of the rocks to get a closer look at the marine life.”
