THE many contributions of women in Wyndham will be celebrated next week with a ‘Women’s Own’ day at the Heathdale and Neighbours Community Shed.
The International Women’s Day event will include a women’s leadership workshop and lunch. There will also be hands-on workshops on wood and metal work and demonstrations from women including deputy mayor Marie Brittan.
It’s on Monday from 10am-1pm at 57A Kookaburra Avenue, Werribee. Registrations: gail.price@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
